The results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations have been released. The results of all education boards in the country were released simultaneously at 10 am today, Monday (August 10).
The average pass rate in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations is 62.25 percent. Of these, the pass rate in 9 general education boards is 64.05 percent. The pass rate in the Madrasa board is 55.49 percent, and the pass rate in the technical board is 58.20 percent.
Education Minister Ehsanul Haque Milon highlighted the pass rate at a press conference in the meeting room of the Ministry of Education.
The minister said that this time 18 lakh 29 thousand 485 students participated in the SSC and equivalent examinations and passed, 11 lakh 38 thousand 877 of them. Of these, 1 lakh 16 thousand 676 got GPA-5.
Candidates can know the results through SMS on the education board's website and mobile phone. The results are available on the websites ‘eduboardresults.gov.bd’ (https://eduboardresults.gov.bd) and ‘educationboardresults.gov.bd’ (https://educationboardresults.gov.bd).
To check SSC results via SMS, go to the message option of your mobile, type SSC, space, the first three letters of the board in English, then the roll number and the year of the examination with a space and send it to 16140. For example, SSC DHA 123456 2026. Apart from this, the results can also be found by sending an SMS to 16222.
Madrasa Education Board Dakhil candidates can check their results by sending an SMS to 16222 by typing ‘Dakhil MAD 123456 2026’. And Technical Education Board candidates have to type ‘SSC TEC 123456 2026’ and send it to 16222.
Now, candidates can also collect their results from their respective educational institutions. To get the institution-specific result sheet, you will have to go to the results corner of the education board website and enter the institution's EIIN number.
This year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21. The written examinations of the general education boards ended on May 20. And the written examinations of the Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examinations ended on May 24.
This time, more than 18 lakh 57 thousand students filled the forms to participate in the SSC and equivalent examinations. Out of these, 14 lakh 18 thousand 398 students participated in the SSC examinations under the nine general education boards.
