21 former cricket captains from around the world have demanded good treatment and humane treatment for former Pakistani Prime Minister and legendary cricketer Imran Khan. They have written a letter to the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, demanding this.

Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar and cricket stars like Kapil Dev are also among the signatories to the letter.

The letter sent on Sunday (August 23) said that 73-year-old Imran Khan has been in prison for more than three years.

His former teammates and former cricket captains from around the world are deeply concerned about the recent news of his deteriorating physical condition and loss of vision in his right eye.

The letter also said that despite the Supreme Court's order, Imran Khan's health check-up has not been completed.

At the same time, his family members are also being prevented from meeting him. The former cricket captains have sent a letter to Shehbaz Sharif expressing their concerns over these incidents.

The letter has raised three main demands regarding Imran Khan. The demands are that he should undergo a complete health check-up by an independent medical board, including his personal doctor.

As per the court order, Imran should be given the opportunity to meet his family members every week without any hindrance.

In addition, he should be provided with the necessary medical treatment as per the doctors' advice.

The former cricket captains expressed hope that the Pakistani government will quickly resolve this humanitarian issue and ensure Imran Khan good treatment and due dignity.
