Md. Faridul Islam said, "I am a son of this soil. I stepped forward into social service driven by a sense of responsibility and the earnest requests of the local people. I have been working for student welfare since my days at Dhaka Central College. During my student life, I drew further inspiration for social service while working with the 'Lalmohan Thana Student Welfare Association' (Dhaka) and the 'Nationalist Student Forum'."

He added, "After completing my studies, alongside running my business in Lalmohan, I have always tried to sincerely step forward for any positive or public welfare initiative in the area. The local people are like family to me. If they give me the opportunity to serve as their representative, I will work with the utmost sincerity to uphold their trust, dignity, and honor—InshaAllah."
