Allegations have surfaced regarding a massive attack, vandalism, and looting at the studio of popular content creator Salman Muqtadir after he refused to pay extortion money. Late Saturday night (September 27), a group of miscreants unleashed this rampage at the 'New Greeny Properties' office located at the ECB Chattar in the capital. Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene, brought the situation under control, and detained two individuals found in possession of local weapons.

An inspection of the site revealed extensive destruction inside the studio. The miscreants looted valuable studio equipment—including CCTV cameras—and various other belongings. Items that could not be taken away were smashed and trashed. Clear signs of this barbaric attack and vandalism were evident throughout the studio premises.

Muhammad Gias Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cantonment Police Station, confirmed the incident. He stated that preliminary police findings suggest the attack on the ECB Chattar office stemmed from a dispute over the occupation of the premises. Immediately after being notified, a police team rushed to the scene and managed to bring the situation under control. Two attackers were apprehended red-handed at the site, with knives found in their possession.

Efforts are underway to identify and arrest other perpetrators involved in the incident. Furthermore, the police have initiated a detailed investigation into the underlying motives, the extortion allegations, and the looting. OC Gias Uddin confirmed that the process of taking necessary legal action regarding the incident is currently in progress.
