A fire broke out at a garment factory in Gazipur. The blaze started around 3 PM on Saturday at Matrix Garments in the Fakir Market area of ​​Deger Chala.

Anwarul Islam, an official from the Fire Service's central media cell, stated that a fire unit arrived at the scene within five minutes to extinguish the fire on the third floor of the eight-story building.

He reported that nine units were operating at the site around 4:15 PM. No casualties had been reported up to that point.

Alongside extinguishing the fire, the Fire Service is carrying out rescue operations for those trapped. The Fire Service reported that 67 people had been rescued as of 4:15 PM.
