A voluntary organization named Ektar Bondhon has distributed goats among extremely poor and underprivileged families in Lalmohan Upazila of Bhola district.
The program was held on Friday afternoon, June 19, 2026, at the organization's head office located in Ekata Bazar, Kalma Union.
Speaking on the occasion, the organization's Director, Lokman Mosolman, said, “Our organization began its journey in 2020. Since then, we have been carrying out various humanitarian activities, including awarding meritorious students, distributing winter clothing and Eid essentials among disadvantaged families, providing relief during natural disasters, and supporting the medical treatment of patients suffering from critical illnesses. As part of our livelihood support project, we distributed goats to 12 underprivileged families last year and to 4 families this year. Insha’Allah, with the continued support and cooperation of everyone, we will maintain this initiative in the future as well.”
Among those present at the event were Md. Riaz Uddin Hawlader, Lecturer at Shambhupur Shahe Alam Model College; Niaz Mehdi, Lecturer at Lalmohan Degree College; local social worker Mahbub Alam Bhasani; Lokman Mosolman, Director of Ektar Bondhon; Selim Master, Assistant Teacher of Ekata Bazar Secondary School; Musa Kalimullah; and organization members Mainuddin Rimon, Abu Sufian, Fahad, Jahirul Islam Hossain, and Saiful Islam Firoz, among others.
