The Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Barguna, Ms. Taslima Akhter, distributed clothes and bicycles among 69 village police from 07 unions of Taltoli Upazila.

The Upazila Executive Officer, Taltoli; Nezarat Deputy Collector, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Barguna, local public representatives and other stakeholders were present at the time.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed optimism and said, "These bicycles will bring dynamism to the patrolling and other activities of the village police. As a result, they will be able to reach the spot quickly, maintain law and order and play a more effective role in the government's development activities."

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the village police to work more responsibly in maintaining law and order, preventing crime and implementing the government's development activities.
