A day-long gathering and training session for union-level leaders, organized by the Satkhira District branch of Jamaat-e-Islami, took place recently.

The event was held on Saturday (October 17, 2026), starting at 9:00 AM, in Fatehpur, located in the Kaliganj Upazila of Satkhira.

Leaders from 40 unions across the Kaliganj, Shyamnagar, Ashashuni, and Debhata Upazilas participated in the program.

The event was moderated by Ruhul Amin, Office Secretary of the Satkhira District Jamaat, with an inaugural address delivered by Professor Obaidullah, Assistant Secretary of the District Jamaat. The keynote address was given by Hafez Muhammad Rabiul Bashar—a member of the central Shura (consultative council) of Jamaat-e-Islami, a member of the Khulna regional team, and the Member of Parliament for the Satkhira-3 constituency.

The gathering and training session were conducted by Maulana Azizur Rahman, Secretary of the Satkhira District Jamaat.

Throughout the day, the program covered various topics, including *Dars-ul-Quran* (Quranic study), methods for managing the organization, addressing the inactivity of members, identifying and resolving organizational challenges, and defining the specific responsibilities of those in leadership roles.

Discussions also focused on invigorating organizational activities, enhancing the effectiveness of leaders, and identifying existing challenges within the organization to develop potential solutions.
