The Israeli army has arrested 13 Palestinians, including a child, in a raid on Palestinian property, which also resulted in the burning of agricultural land and trees.

The 13 Palestinians were arrested in a raid in the occupied West Bank on Sunday.

The occupiers set fire to a Palestinian home in the northern part of the town of Osareen in the northern West Bank, south of Nablus. Local sources told Anadolu Agency that they also set fire to a car, causing parts of it to burn. Racist slogans were also written at the scene.

The attack also targeted the Khalil al-Luz area, east of Bethlehem, damaging irrigation pipes used for crops, uprooting trees and damaging Palestinian property and agricultural land.

The Palestinian state news agency Wafa (WAFA) reported that olive and grape trees were uprooted from Palestinian-owned land in the village of Al-Minya, east of Bethlehem.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians, including a child, from the village of Al-Rashaideh in Bethlehem.

Wafa reported that six Palestinians were arrested from the town of Qulqiliya during house searches in the Kafr Saba and Al-Naqqar areas. In addition, five more were arrested from the town of Tulkarem during search operations.

Israeli forces closed the western entrance to the village of Al-Mugayir, northeast of Ramallah, preventing Palestinians from entering or leaving the village. Several Palestinians were questioned on the spot and tear gas was fired at vehicles.

Local sources told Anadolu that the western entrance is currently the only entrance to Al-Mughayir after the Israeli army closed the eastern entrance to the village on October 7, 2023.

In addition, a Palestinian farmer’s tent, equipment and fodder were set on fire on the outskirts of Burqa village, east of Ramallah, local sources said.

Since the start of Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Israeli military operations and attacks by the occupiers in the occupied West Bank have significantly increased. Palestinian and international circles have also repeatedly warned about the ongoing tensions.
