A new executive committee has been formed for the next 2 years of the Raipura Upazila Reporters Club of Narsingdi. Moniruzzaman Monir has been unanimously elected as the president and Taslima Akhter as the general secretary.

This 9-member committee was formed in the presence of all the journalists and members present at a general meeting held at the Raipura Reporters Club office on Saturday (September 19, 2026) afternoon.

The other positions of the newly formed executive council are – Senior Vice President Faisal Ahmed, Vice President Parvez Mosharraf, Joint General Secretary Imran Ahmed Mollah, Treasurer A Azizul Islam, Sports, Literature and Cultural Secretary Shahriar Bin Parag, Senior Executive Member Ajay Saha and Executive Member Md. Taufiqul Haque.

After the formation of the committee, in a brief discussion, the leaders of the newly formed committee expressed their firm determination to promote the overall development of Raipura Upazila, highlight various problems of the local people, and maintain the trend of objective journalism.

Meanwhile, prominent people of the area, various political and social organizations, and the local journalist community have expressed their sincere congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected committee on the inauguration of the new committee of the Raipura Reporters Club.
