Recovered 26 lost mobile phones and cash in Narail

The district police recovered 26 lost smart phones and 51 thousand taka in cash in Narail and handed them over to their rightful owners.

On Tuesday (June 30), at around 11:30 am, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Al Mamun Sikder officially handed over 26 smart mobile phones and 51 thousand taka in cash lost through online fraud to the victims.

According to police sources, under the direct guidance of Superintendent of Police Mohammad Al Mamun Sikder of Narail district, vigilant officers SI (retd) Rajesh Kumar Das, SI (retd) Md. Rakibul Hasan and other police members working in the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell, using information technology, recovered lost mobile phones and money lost through online fraud in 4 police stations of Narail district.

They recovered 26 lost mobile phones and 51 thousand taka in cash lost through online fraud in May. Later on Tuesday morning, the district police officially handed over the mobile phones and cash to the owners.

Present at the event were District Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Alauddin, CCIC and Cyber Crime Investigation Cell In-Charge Md. Abdul Khalek, and district police officers.
