A broom procession and protest meeting were held in Bheramara town over the Facebook live speech of former municipal mayor of Bheramara, Kushtia, Anwarul Kabir Tutul.

The protest meeting was organized by the Bheramara Upazila and Municipal BNP.

Former mayor of Bheramara Municipality, Anwarul Kabir Tutul, came on Facebook Live and abused BNP Chairman Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman and local BNP leaders in foul language and made ugly comments.

Earlier, on the night of the 24th, he was undergoing treatment in the hospital after being attacked by terrorists, and the next day he came live and expressed his anger. In protest, Bheramara BNP and its affiliates took out a protest procession this afternoon. The procession marched through the city’s main streets and ended with a brief rally at the bus stand.
