Four child students were injured in a hand bomb explosion near a women’s madrasa in Kalkini municipality area of ​​Madaripur. The explosion occurred in front of Emon Sardar’s house next to Gopalpur Darussunnah Women’s Madrasa on Saturday (August 15) morning, said Kalkini Police Station OC Md. Zahirul Alam.

Madrasa students Minha (10), Jannat (9), Maimuna (9) and Abida (8) were injured in the incident. They have been admitted to the Upazila Health Complex and District Sadar Hospital.

Emon Sardar said, I don’t know how such an explosion happened in front of my house.

The madrasa’s Mahtamim Hafizur Rahman said, a bomb suddenly exploded near his madrasa. Four child students were injured in this.

OC Zahirul Alam said that on the morning of August 15, a hand grenade exploded in front of the residence of Emon Sardar, who was with the madrasa. After receiving the information, the incident site was inspected with the accompanying force.

He also said that an investigation is underway in this regard.
