
The bodies of nine of the 16 Bangladeshis who died in a fire at a sofa factory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will arrive in Bangladesh tomorrow (August 27).
This information was given by the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment on Wednesday.
The bodies will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4 pm on Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight no. BG 340.
Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury will be present at the airport to receive the bodies, said the ministry’s public relations officer Md. Shariful Islam.
On August 9, 16 Bangladeshis died in a fire at a sofa factory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
