A 22-year-old woman was killed and five others were seriously injured in a shooting at a rave party in the Swiss city of Aarau on Sunday. Police have launched a nationwide manhunt to catch the attacker after the early-morning incident.
Police said the incident took place at a racecourse in the Aarau area, about 46 kilometers west of Zurich. The 22-year-old woman died at the scene. The other five injured included four men and a woman, aged between 24 and 27. All of the injured were hospitalized due to their serious injuries.
Local media reported that police were notified at around 2:30 a.m. local time. However, the country’s law enforcement agencies said the reason for the attack and the specific circumstances of the incident were still unclear.
