Chairman Candidate Abhi Talukdar Conducts Mass Outreach via Motorcycle Procession in Purbadhala

Imrul Hasan Abhi Talukdar has conducted a mass outreach campaign as a prospective chairman candidate for No. 4 Jaria Union in Purbadhala Upazila, Netrokona, ahead of the upcoming Union Parishad election. On Friday afternoon, he led a motorcycle procession and engaged with the public alongside his supporters.

The procession began at Jaria Bazar and traversed various key roads, intersections, and wards of the union. Local youths and supporters participated, using motorcycles and other vehicles. The procession eventually concluded at a street-side rally.

During the procession, Abhi Talukdar exchanged greetings with local residents, while supporters welcomed him by chanting various slogans.

At the rally, Imrul Hasan Abhi Talukdar said, “I have entered the field with the dream of serving the people of Jaria Union. Becoming the chairman is not my primary objective; establishing the people’s rights and earning their love is my main goal. If the people give me the opportunity, I will work to transform No. 4 Jaria Union into a modern, model union—free from drugs, terrorism, and corruption.”

He further stated that he intends to work on developing the union’s neglected roads, ensuring access to safe drinking water, improving the quality of healthcare and education, and creating a suitable environment for sports for the youth.

Abhi Talukdar added, “The support and prayers of the people of Jaria Union are my greatest strength. If given the chance, I wish to dedicate myself to the welfare of the union’s residents.”

Supporters present at the procession claimed that Abhi Talukdar has long strived to stand by the local people in both good times and bad. They noted that a segment of the youth supports him as a prospective chairman candidate.

Local political figures, social workers, and prominent personalities were present on the occasion.

It is worth noting that political activity by potential candidates is intensifying across various parts of the country in anticipation of the Union Parishad elections. The Election Commission has published the gazette regarding the code of conduct for the Union Parishad elections.
