
A baby named Arhan Sardar (1) died after getting milk stuck in his trachea while being fed in Lohagara Upazila of Narail.
The incident took place at around 10 am on Tuesday (July 14) in Amada village of Lakshipasha Union of the upazila.
The child’s grandfather and Lohagara Upazila Correspondent of Daily Amar Desh, Sardar Rais Uddin Tipu, confirmed the matter.
He said that on Tuesday morning, his son Md. Antik Sardar’s one-year-old son Arhan was being fed by his mother. At that time, milk got stuck in the baby’s trachea. Despite urgent efforts to save him, he died.
He also said that the baby will be buried in the family graveyard after the funeral prayer at Amada Madrasa ground after Asr prayers on Tuesday.
