Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who is visiting Dhaka, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister`s Office in Tejgaon in the capital on Saturday morning.
The Prime Minister`s Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam Rony said that various issues of mutual interest between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
He added that the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding areas of cooperation and developing future relations.
